Melbourne (Amrinder Gidda): You can say he is one of the odds, you can give him a unique name but let's be fair, "don't give him any ordinary name". He carries his special sovereignty he is rebellion in the music, yes we are talking about Rebel Gem. A man armed with creativity and meaningful approach for society.

Yes, we are talking about Arvinder Singh aka Rebel Gem, born in Kila Raipur, Punjab. The name itself is unique Rebel and Gem together. At least once in our life, we heard someone saying that "the imprint of a dad will forever remain on his son". Well, that's true in Arvinder's life as well. Arvinder's father Sarbjit Singh is also a poet and lyricist. He got the music imprint from his father. 

Apart from family connection with music, Arvinder had aspirations to touch the high note of music in life. He went to Australia to achieve academics in music and guess what not many people do that. That shows his commitment and answer your question if you are asking yourself, why he is rebellion? He is now a graduate of Bachelor in Music and Composition from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM). You might have heard AIM name earlier as Sydney based International artist D. Minor also an Alumni of AIM. 

Back in 2014 Arvinder arranged the songs, compose the songs and made background music of a movie Little Terrors. The "Little Terrors" movie loaded with the star cast such as Om Puri and Deep Dhillon. He also had the honour to work along with famous Bollywood celebrities singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Master Saleem. 

Arvinder is a people person his music, songs and compositions are reflections of the man behind the keyboard. Arvinder's brother Satwinder Singh represented Chandigarh in Senior National Hockey Championship back in India. Alumni of AIM then bided for the official song for Hockey World Cup in 2018. This time he gives away something for his brother and also for the national game of India. 

He supported the background mix mastering in the short science fiction movie Zoe. Zoe was in the list of the official selection at Sydney Indian Film Festival, Los Angles Independent Film Festival Awards and also in New York movie awards 2019.

In his short journey, Arvinder also had silverware to display in his cabinet. He won the best Australian Community Singer Award at Festival of Talent and ACTAP awards. Arvinder knows how to grow moreover he understands how important is the networking in the music sector. He recently participated at 5th Manhattan International Music Competition in the COVID effected year. Isn't a bold commitment from a young rebellion? Oh yes.

He also released his projects with Harp Farmer Pictures, T-Series, Saga Music and Music Time. He is carrying a lot of mighty minty and mystery bag of his music. 1896 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਲੀਗ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਲੀਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ  ਕਾਰਲਟਨ, ਕੋਲਿੰਗਵੁਡ, ਏਸੰਡਨ, ਫਿੱਟਜੋਰਾਏ, ਜਿਲੋਂਗ, ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ, ਸੇਂਟ ਕਿਲਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸਨ | 1908 ਵਿੱਚ, ਰਿਚਮੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਪਰ 1914 ਦੇ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੇ ਲੀਗ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ |  1925 ਵਿੱਚ, ਫੁੱਟਸਕਰੇ (ਹੁਣ ਵੈਸਟਰਨ ਬੁਲਡੋਗ), ਹੌਥੋਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਰਥ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਲੀਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ |

1987 ਤੱਕ ਇਸ ਲੀਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਨੇ ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਪਸਾਰਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਸਟ ਕੋਸਟ ਈਗਲਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਬੇਨ ਬੀਅਰਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਲੀਗ ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ | 1997 ਤੱਕ 16 ਕਲੱਬ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ, ਐਡੀਲੇਡ (1991 ਵਿੱਚ), ਫਰੀਮੈਂਟਲ (1995 ਵਿੱਚ) ਅਤੇ ਪੋਰਟ ਐਡੀਲੇਡ (1997 ਵਿੱਚ) ਵਿੱਚ, 1996 ਦੇ ਸੀਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਫਿੱਟਜੋਰਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਬੇਨ ਬੀਅਰਸ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਸੀ ਮੇਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਬੇਨ ਲਾਇਨਜ਼ ਹੇਂਠ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਲੱਬ ਹੋਂਦ ਚ ਆਇਆ | 2011 ਵਿਚ ਗੋਲਡ ਕੋਸਟ ਸਨਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗਰੇਟਰ ਵੈਸਟਨ ਸਿਡਨੀ ਜਾਇੰਟਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਇਆ  ਅਤੇ ਕੁੱਲ 18 ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੌਮੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ|

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ: ਭਾਰਤ 'ਚ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਲ 2008 ਤੋਂ ਯਤਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ | ਇਸੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਾਲ 2014 ਏਐੱਫਐੱਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਸਾਲ ਏਐੱਫਐੱਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਚੈਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਜੇਤੂ ਰਹੀ | 2014 ਵਿੱਚ ਏਐੱਫਐੱਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਖੇਡ ਬੰਗਾਲ, ਝਾਰਖੰਡ, ਉੜੀਸਾ, ਬਿਹਾਰ, ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ, ਮਹਾਂਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ, ਕੇਰਲ, ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ, ਆਂਧਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਲੰਗਾਨਾ ਚ ਖੇਡੀ ਜਾਂ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਦਕਿ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ |

ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ 'ਚ ਹਿਊਮ ਬੋਮਬਰਸ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਲੱਬ 'ਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਲ 2018 ਚ ਇਨਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਖੇਡ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਲ ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਈ | ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਚ ਕੁੱਲ 47 ਬੱਚੇ ਫੂਟੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਕਾਫੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਫੂਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ | ਪਰ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਲ 2013-14 ਚ ਔਸ-ਕਿੱਕ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਰੇਗੀਬਰਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਕਲੱਬ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ | ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਨੇ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਏਐੱਫਐੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ |

- 80 ਮਿੰਟ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਖੇਡ 'ਚ 20 ਮਿੰਟ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਕੁਆਟਰ ਖੇਡੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ |
- ਜਿਸ ਬਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸਦਾ ਆਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਅੰਡੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ |
- ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ 'ਚ ਮੈਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਤੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 18 ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ |
- ਖੇਡ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਆਕਾਰ ਆਂਡੇ ਦੇ ਆਕਾਰ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ |

We may experience an "ACCIDENTAL" KPS Gill !

Yes, that's right, we may have another accidental KPS Gill in Indian hockey and he/she may end up like Gill, empty-handed. We experienced the dictatorship of Gill back in those days and now it's happening again. Looks like the Golden Days of Hockey India are over. Yes, people appreciated the authorities and individuals when they made the right decision but now they see the criticism they outburst themselves on social media, but they are not facing the media.

The mishandling trend of the coaches is still on: The sacking of coaches was very easy in Gill's era and it's happening again. We saw 18 coaches in 14 years when KPS Gill was the president of the Indian Hockey Federation. Under Hockey India, we experienced 7 coaches in 11 years. Looks like Hockey India took these numbers seriously. The point is the mindset of the authorities and people involved at the administrative level hasn't changed. It's the same and it's dangerous. In total, we experienced 25 coaches in 25 years of hockey in India. What do we expect as hockey fans?

Sidelining the players: More than a decade ago, this was a very common strategy but it's back again. Ritu Rani (Ex Indian Women Team Captain) sidelined before the Rio Olympics, she even cried during the TV interview. Sardara Singh sidelined before Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, SV Sunil, Rupinderpal Singh and Sardara Singh again got sidelined before the recent world cup. In cricket, which is most popular game in India, if they exclude any player from the previous team they also give the reason but it's not happening in Hockey. It's just like a game of poker, where Hockey India officials are showing their skills of a bluff with confidence. Same things happened in Gill's time Deepak Thakur, Inderjit Chadda and Kamalpreet are only a few to name, but we all know the list. Harendra Singh also raised the concerns about his disability to choose the favourite XI.

No interaction with the media: One of the very close members of Hockey India always endorse the Media as the fourth pillar of democracy but they dare to face the fourth pillar. They are hiding behind their own pillars. Not good at all. Nowadays, Hockey India shared the information with the press releases only, no press conferences. Well, their political bosses are also the same so therefore I don't have much to expect.

What we are missing so far? This is big question. Why KPS Gill ended up with empty hands. The answer is "Rebels". With the support of the rebels, some people formed the Hockey India and I am sure they are very close to tasting their own recipe. In this scenario, the only missing piece in the puzzle is the voice of the players who got sidelined. We need another Rajpal Singh and similarly his fellow teammates, who show the wisdom to stand against the haughty behaviour of Gill and his team. Hockey India The voice from the players who got sidelined is very important. Individually we know the stories but they have to document their stories.

Voice up and fight back: This is the only solution. We should do that. All the Hockey fans must raise their voice against the Hockey India decisions. This is the only time to ask the serious questions to Hockey India and any officials associated with them. I also urge the media to cover this topic as much as you can. Hockey fans need the support from the media and we all have to voice up our feelings.

We all know who is acting like Gill and he/she is similarly trying to be a hunter of the ring with no clear vision and also without long-term planning. Guess what they are just digging their own grave. Considering all the facts as mentioned above, I am sure we may experience an accidental KPS Gill.

11 years 7 coaches for a team: Hockey India, What is your CEO doing?

Dear CEO of Hockey India, show us a nation in the whole world who changed the coaches like Hockey India? I bet you won’t be able to pinpoint a single country. Isn’t this your failure? Isn’t this embarrassing for you and your team? Don’t you feel you or your boss ego is hurting the whole nation? Don’t you feel the moral values? I think this the beginning of another black era which we saw under the KPS Gill before 2008.

Yes, we will not change our decision and we will always make our decisions without any consultation process. These are the memories when KPS Gill was president of the leading Hockey Authority of India, more than a decade ago. That was the time when the players humiliated and coaches fired and none of the responsible authority members of hockey body dares to face the media.

Now, under the Hockey India, it’s happening again and dear “CEO ” all of this is happening under your supervision or you blame your mystery boss somewhere in your mind and just worrying about securing your job? In 11 years Hockey India introduced and sacked or demotes 7 different Coaches and I would also like to say that, Hockey India actually invented the new ways of appointing and sacking the coaches of Indian Men’s National Team. Hockey is our Nation pride and under your supervision, it's fading away? Isn’t this shameful Hockey India? After KPS Gill the Hockey India CEO is the one who yelled out on the Indian Team Captain, again this is not something you can feel proud of, isn’t it?

Now see the timeline of seven coaches in the last 11 years.

1. Jose Brasa (May 2009 to November 2010)

2. Michael Nobbs (June 2011 to June 2013)

3. Terry Walsh (October 2013 to October 2014)

4. Paul van Ass (January 2015 to June 2015)

5. Roelant Oltmans (August 2015 to Sep 2017)

I haven't counted on assistant coaches, it may be 15 plus in the last 10 years. Wow, what a strategy from Hockey India CEO or Development Committee. Just a shame...

Why sacking low or demoting is wrong for Harendra: Let’s discuss this. In the press release Hockey India try to fool the fans and also tried to give the positive feel to the fans by stating that “with the vision and emphasis on building a strong player based ahead of 2021 Junior World Cup and the 2020, 2024 Olympic Games, Hockey India High Performance and Development Committee met on Monday 7 January 2019. Basis their discussion the Committee has recommended to reassign Dronacharya Awardee Harendra Singh as the Coach for the Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team”. Now the question is why not Hockey India still keeps Harendra as Chief Coach of Men’s National Team and asked Harendra for his recommendations to coach the Junior Team and they both can work together. 

Another question for the CEO, Isn’t this lack of common sense in your team or committee? They need to develop their skills in development planning for God sake. Now I will show you the performance of Harendra Singh. He is a much better coach than anyone in the last decade. In 1994 India finished the world cup campaign at number 5 and after that continually we failed to finish in top six of five world cups (1998 in the Netherlands, 2002 Malaysia, 2006 German, 2010 India, 2014 Netherlands). Under Harendra Singh we finished six after 24 Years. Now see his previous performance.

Is Hockey India doing favouritism? You saw the Harendra record and now compare it Sjreod. He never showcases any good results in any format and now the question to CEO is why Sjreod is still coaching any Indian side? Is he your favourite? Why Sjreod failure is not noticeable? Check out his performance and you can compare them and it will only draw one picture in your mind. Yes, looks like favouritism is happening, otherwise, there is no reason to keep the Sjreod.

I have tried to contact many officials of Hockey India, including the CEO but no answer (email copy attached below). I spend two weeks to document all the matches and now I can clearly see the picture. Harendra is performing much better than others and I am sure readers will agree. Leave your comments below.

We would love to listen and share the logic around “why Harendra Singh is IMPORTANT”. To conclude, I would like to urge Sports Minister Mr Rajyavardhan Rathore Ji, please intervene in this issue as we feel CEO is not performing and sidelined the top performing coach of Indian National Team. On the last note, I have also contacted the sports ministry to raise the same concern.

Hockey India don't "compromise" again..!

As coach Sjoerd Marijne is failed to deliver the results 

September 2017, Hockey India raised the standards for themselves in their decision-making process. The leading authority of Hockey in India made a very "commendable"  decision for the well being of the National hockey team. Hockey India fired the Roelant Oltmans as a head coach of Indian Men Hockey team ‘for lack of results’. Oltmans, who was initially appointed as a High-Performance manager in 2013, became the head coach after Dutchman Paul Van Ass left controversially in 2015.

With this sacking, Rolent Oltmans added into the list of firing international coaches from Indian Hockey. It started with Australian Ric Charlesworth and the list includes Jose Brasa and Australians Michael Nobbs and Terry Walsh. In my opinion and I am sure most of the other hockey lovers are also feeling the same, now it's Sjoerd Marijne who is enjoying every bit of his failure.  Before his supporters will raise the questions, well I doubt if he got any. We must see his performance and no doubt he got the consistency in failure and we know while addressing the media every time he talks about the consistent performance. The question is WHERE is it? 

As we understood the swap policy of Hockey India, they also understand that Sjoerd Marijne didn't deliver the results for the men hockey team and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games was the last nail but the swap policy worked out well in his favour. Now, If Sjoerd Marijne already failed to produce the results with the men hockey team then why he got appointed for the women hockey team again? Hockey India chooses the diplomatic strategy here, why didn't hockey India choose to sack him, as they did with the other big names as mentioned above? If he is not suitable for men national hockey team then how come is suitable for the women national hockey team? 

Let's see his performance as coach. 

You can see clearly in the picture "consistency" is missing but I urge Hockey India to be consistent and ask him the questions about his performance. Some people may challenge he got the recent success in Women World Cup, which I marked as satisfactory performance. But hang on, this team was built by the Harendra Singh and now Sjoerd Marijne is enjoying the glory similarly like Asian Games when women team won the silver medal and we lost final against Japan. Now, please do not forget in 2017 Asia Cup Harendra Singh was the coach of the Indian Women Hockey Team and we beat Japan by 4-2. Harendra is more consistent in his statements, practically, performance and he normally said "We wants to finish with the podium" and he is doing this from Junior World Cup.

Players of men hockey team also raised concerns about the Sjoerd Marijne after the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. An HI official was quoted by Asian Age as saying (August 2018), "The Gold Coast performance was unsatisfactory and the players too had raised a number of concerns. Be it the coaching methods or team selection, there were many shortcomings (https://www.mykhel.com). He has got only two big achievements, Asia Cup 2017 and World Hockey League Final 2017 and it's marked as good performance in the picture, but after that nothing can be marked as good performance in his tenure. 

I had chances to interview him personally and I also attended the press meets with him during the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.  To be honest, I am not convinced with his abilities or presentation as a coach and on top of all these, I cannot see he is producing any good results for Hockey India. At last, I will urge Hockey India to make the brave decision and be consistent as we cannot see the consistency in Sjoerd Marijne performance as a coach.

ਕਬੂਤਰਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ੇਬਾਜੀ: 
ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਦ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਤਰਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਕੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਅੱਜ ਕੱਲ ਇਸ ਵਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਜਾ ਕਹੀਏ ਕੇ ਕਬੂਤਰਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਬੰਦ ਹੋ ਗਈ | ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ-ਦੁੱਕਾ ਕੇਸ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਪਰ ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਕੇਸ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਂ ਕਹੀਏ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਹੀ ਇੰਨੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਸਲਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ | ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਸਾਫ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜੇਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਮੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਮੰਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ | ਹੁਣ ਮਸਲਾ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ੇਬਾਜੀ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਵੇਂ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ | ਕਬੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਨਵਾਂ ਪੈਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ 'ਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਬ-ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇ, ਸਿਰਫ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਆਵਾਗੌਣ ਪੈਸਾ ਵਹਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ | ਇਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਅੱਧਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਵੀ ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਖੇਡ ਤੇ ਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰੋਮੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਓਂਕਿ ਫਿਰ "ਵਾਹ-ਵਾਹ ਵੀਰ ਜੀ" ਦਾ ਛੱਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ |

ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸੰਦੀਦਾ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਖਿਡਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਚੰਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਪਨੀਰੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਕੁ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ, ਉਹ ਬਿਲਕੁੱਲ ਨਾ-ਮਾਤਰ ਨੇ | ਇਸੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ੇਬਾਜੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ "ਇੱਕ" ਢਾਂਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕਿਆ, ਕੋਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਖੇਡਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਚ ਇੱਕ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ 'ਚ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਸ਼ਾਬਾਸ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ | ਇਨਾਂ ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਤੱਕ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ | ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਬਣੇ ਨੇ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਬੋਤਮ ਹੀ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਨੇ | ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਰਵਾਸੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਮੋਟਰ ਵੀ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਉਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਕੀਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ | ਇਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਮਟਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਐਲਾਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ੇਬਾਜੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ |

ਗੱਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹੀ ਕਿਓਂ ਨਹੀਂ:
ਇਹ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਬੀਤੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਸੱਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਬਿਜ਼ ਰਹੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਲੀਡਰਾਂ ਨੇ (ਬਾਦਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਮੇਤ) ਕਬੱਡੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਡੀਂਗਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ | ਖੈਰ, ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਆਖ਼ਿਰੀ ਸਾਲ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਾਫੀ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ | ਚੰਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾ 'ਚੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਖੇਡ ਕੇ ਆਈਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਮੋਟਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਇਨਾਂ ਲੀਡਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਵਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਚ ਵੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਜਰੂਰ ਕਰਨਾ | 

ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੜਾਹ ਹੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜੋਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਕਬੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ | ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਖੇਡ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਖੇਡ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਕਰਵਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਨਹੀਂ | ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਬੀਤੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ 'ਚ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਸ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਨੇ, ਇਸ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣੀ ਪਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ, ਕਿਓਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ | ਕਬੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, ਖੈਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਜਰੂਰ ਖੜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਕਿ ਕਿਓਂ ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਹ-ਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਛੱਜ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਿਓਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ |

ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੇਡ ਦੇ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਜਰ ਮਾਰਦੀ ਹੈ | ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕੀ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕੀ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਦੇ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ? ਕਮੇਟੀ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਦੀ ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਿਯਤਾ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਕੁ ਹੈ | ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਲਗਭਗ 30 ਮਾਪਦੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਪਰਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ | ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਚ ਬੈਠਕੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਵਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਤੋਂ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਤੁਕੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਜ਼ਰੀਆ ਵੀ ਜਰੂਰ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕੇ ਕਬੱਡੀ 2020 ਦੀਆਂ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ, ਨਾਲੇ ਇੱਕਮੁੱਠ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੁਖਵੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਵੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੋ |

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਮਿਡਫੀਲਡ ਪੂਰੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਰਹੀ | ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਬਿਨਾ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਘਾਟੇ ਦਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਸੀ | ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕੋਚ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਿਫਲੀਲਡ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ (ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ) ਮਿਫਿਲਡ ਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ 'ਚ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਰਹੇ, ਜਾਂ ਤਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫਾਰਵਰਡ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹਾਵੀ ਰਹੇ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਪੰਕਤੀ ਜੂਝਦੀ ਨਜਰ ਆਈ| ਚਿੰਗਲੈਂਸਨਾ ਮਿਡਫੀਲਡ 'ਚ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਬਦਲ ਦੇ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਚਿੰਗਲੈਂਸਨਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ| ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨੇ, ਇਨਾਂ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਡਫੀਲਡ ਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਈਏ ਕੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਠੀਕ ਰਸਤੇ ਤੇ ਹਾਂ|

ਪੇਨਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨਰ ਦਾ ਗੋਲਾਂ ਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਾ:

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡ੍ਰੈਗ ਫਲਿਕਰਜ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ‘ਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ  ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ| ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਚ ਹੋਈ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਾਫੀ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਚ ਸਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ| ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਭਾਂਵੇ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੇਨਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨਰ ਤੇ ਗੋਲ ਕੀਤੇ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਗਵਾਏ| ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਏ ਆਖ਼ਿਰੀ ਪੂਲ ਮੈਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਡ੍ਰੈਗ ਫਲਿਕਰਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ ਪੇਨਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲਾਂ ਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ਼ਿਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਚ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਚ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ| ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੁੱਲ 15 ਗੋਲ ਕੀਤੇ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਨਾਂ ਚੋਂ 10 ਪੇਨਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇ 50 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਵੀ ਗੋਲਾਂ ਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਗੋਲ੍ਡ ਕੋਸਟ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਰੂਰ ਜਿੱਤਦੀ|

ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਨਾ ਮਾਤਰ:

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਇਨਾਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਸਿਰਫ 4 ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਦਕਿ ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ| ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਰਾਤ੍ਮਕ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਫੀ ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲ ਕੀਤੇ| ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਨੰਬਰ ਇੱਕ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ ਟੀਮ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਨੇ 15  ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 10 ਅਤੇ ਤੀਸਰੇ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 8 ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲ ਕੀਤੇ| ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫਾਰਵਰਡ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਆਂਕੜੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਉਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ| ਪਰ ਇਸ ਚ ਸਿਰਫ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਖਿਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਿਡਫੀਲਡ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਰਹੀ | ਪੇਨਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ|

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਜੇਚ ਨੇ ਇਨਾ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਓਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਸਰਬੋਤਮ ਗੋਲਕੀਪਰਾਂ ਚ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ| ਧਿਆਨਦੇਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕੇ, ਸ੍ਰੀਜੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਲ 2016 ਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਬੇਹਤਰੀਨ ਗੋਲਕੀਪਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਐਵਾਰਡ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਆਖ਼ਿਰੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ| ਸ੍ਰਿਜੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਚ 'ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ| ਉਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਲ 2006 ਚ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਟੀਮ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਸੀ| ਸ੍ਰਿਜੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਇਨਾਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਿਥੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਫੀਲਡ ਗੋਲ ਰੋਕੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪੇਨਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਛਲਾਂਗ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਟਾਪ ਕਾਰਨਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਫੀ ਫਲਿਕਜ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ| ਸ੍ਰੀਜੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਰਿਹਾ, ਜੇਕਰ ਸ਼ਿਰਜੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਔਸਤਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਤਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਪੂਲ ਮੈਚ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਜਿੱਤ ਪਾਉਂਦੀ|

ਕੋਚ ਦੀ ਕਹਿਣੀ ਤੇ ਕਰਨੀ:

ਮੇਰੇ ਇਸ ਲੇਖ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਦੇ-ਲਿਖਦੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕੋਚ ਸ਼ੁਰਡ ਮਾਰੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਕੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਵਲੋਂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਟੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਗਲਤ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਲੱਗ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੋਚ ਸ਼ੁਰਡ ਮਾਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ 'ਚ ਸਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ| ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾਪਦੀ ਸੀ| ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਅਜਲਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ 'ਚ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚੋ ਇਸ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ| ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਦਰੁਣਾਚਾਰਿਆ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਜੇਤੂ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬੇ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਉਸਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜੋ ਹੁਨਰ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਵੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ 'ਚੋ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ| ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ| ਖੇਡ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਗਵਾਹ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਟੀਮ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਚ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਸੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਪਰ ਸ਼ੁਰਡ ਮਾਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਹੇਂਠ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕਿਆ|

ਇਨਾਂ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਘੱਟ ਸਮੇਂ ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਦੇਖਣਯੋਗ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਹਾਕੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਵੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਮੇਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਕੋਚ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਲਦ ਬੰਦ ਕਰੇਗੀ|ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਰਹੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ, ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਦੀ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ|
